As we all know at the beginning we get super confused about the scrapbook base, design, content and then the cards. In my personal experience whenever I start making scrapbook I have to go through all of this brain storming. Well it's an lovely process of creating scrapbook. Sketches for Making Cards

Measurements for name album

How to decide what should be the measurements for each page of the album?

Its very simple, width of each page should be same (here 20cm) and some space should be kept for the binding of the album about 1 inch or 2cm (here I have left 2cms).
For letters, each letter can be made in 9cm space except for the letter 'I' (it can be made in 4cm space as shown in my Youtube video) & 'M' and 'W' (it has to be made in 12cm space) .
Also 2cm should be added to each page for the binding.

For example: If I have to make a name album of my name i.e SRUSHTI

Width for each page = 20cm

1st page (letter S)
length = 9cm

2nd page (letter R)
length = 9cm + 9cm (size of 1st page) = 18cm

3rd page (letter U)
length = 9cm + 18cm (size of 2nd page) = 27cm

4th page (letter S)
length = 9cm + 27cm (size of 3rd page) = 36cm

5th page (letter H)
length = 9cm + 36cm (size of 4th page) = 45cm

6th page (letter T)
length = 9cm + 45cm (size of 5th page) = 54cm

7th page (letter I)
length = 4cm + 54cm (size of 6th page) = 58cm

So, we have the following length for pages

1st page = 9
2nd page = 18
3rd page = 27
4th page = 36
5th page = 45
6th page = 54
7th page = 58

Now 2cm for binding will be added to each page
so, the final lengths for the pages will be

1st page = 9 + 2 = 11cm
2nd page = 18 + 2 = 20cm
3rd page = 27 + 2 = 29cm
4th page = 36 + 2 = 38cm
5th page = 45 + 2 = 47cm
6th page = 54 + 2 = 56cm
7th page = 58 + 2 = 60cm

Color Filling Technique

So, This is Something new and really interesting method of coloring any drawing. This method takes lot of time to color the drawing as there are many small designs which should be drawn accurately. But, when it is completed, it looks really Amazing. So, what I have basically done is, filled this drawing with Mehndi Designs Pattern. 

FIRST STEP :-

Draw any Character or Drawing with pencil.

Make outline with any Fine point Black Marker. [Here, I have used Steadtlier Marker]

Erase all pencil lines.

SECOND STEP :-

Start filling designs with suitable colors in respective areas, use any fine point pens. [Here, I have used Stabilo point 88 pens (0.4)].

Keep the design simple and keep repeating the same designs leaving gaps between two similar designs [here, I have used Mehndi Designs, but you can also fill any other Design of your choice, as this techinique works with all type of patterns].

THIRD STEP :-

Keep repeating the Procedure and when you complete your Drawing it will look something like this.

Isn't it Amazing? So grab you colors and start making some amazing Drawing with this new coloring Technique.

How to make animated characters look more real and give 
3D effect?

These some important TIPS for sketching & shading any 
character
The most important thing to remember while drawing the 
character is border or outline. If you draw outline perfectly 
the character will also look perfect. Make sure its not dark,
use a lighter pencil. I wont suggest using HB, 2H, 4H, 6H 
pencils as they are too hard and spoil the paper rather use 
2B or 4B pencils for outline. Once you are done with the 
outline you can apply shades. Don't use fingers or cotton 
swabs for smudging the shades. There are different sized 
smudge sticks available, use them. After smudging and 
shading make the outline dark with 8B or 10B pencils. 
Use the smudge stick again, on the outline which gives 
it a real look.
